- Background
Over the years, Greenway Wines has crafted several Rosés, each reflecting a different vintage, season and chapter in the vineyard's story. While styles evolved, one name endured - 'sabine'.
As we explored the origins of the name, we discovered its connection to the ancient Sabine people of Italy, whose history celebrates strength, resilience and quiet confidence. The more we learned, the more the name seemed to capture the personality of the wine itself.
Elegant. Confident. Effortlessly refined.
Today, 'sabine' remains a treasured part of the Greenway Wines collection, a Rosé that celebrates individuality, beautiful estate-grown fruit and the simple pleasure of gathering around a table with family and friends.
Like the wine itself, the name has endured through changing vintages, becoming one of Greenway Wines' most recognisable and enduring labels.
