The Short Version
Nestled in a red barn encircled by the Brokenback Ranges and Wollombi Brook, you’ll find GREENWAY WINES – a small, family-owned and operated micro-boutique vineyard.
Our philosophy is simple: estate grown, single vineyard, handcrafted. We produce wines that are elegant, distinctive, and just a little different from the crowd.

With passion and dedication, we craft around 500 cases each year – small in scale, but big in heart.
A New Chapter
The vineyard was first planted in 1998, and in 2009 Anne Greenway became its proud custodian, later opening the Red Barn Cellar Door in 2016. For more than 15 years, Anne’s vision as both vigneron and architect shaped Greenway into a place where wine, design, and community meet.
On the October 1st 2025, Brett & Louise Dann became the new custodians of Greenway Wines. With deep roots in the Hunter dating back to 1839, and a lifelong passion for travel and terroir, Brett & Louise are proud to honour Anne’s remarkable legacy while guiding Greenway Wines into its next exciting era.
Our vision is simple: to preserve the boutique spirit that makes Greenway so special, while continuing to craft “road less travelled” wines for you to enjoy.
