About Us

In a picturesque Red Barn encircled by the Brokenback Ranges and Wollombi Brook, you’ll find GREENWAY Wines. A family run vineyard producing handcrafted, small batch wines.

Varieties include Pinot Grigio, our sort after Fiano, a gorgeous rosè, the most supple of Merlots, and - of course 'the architect' Shiraz. We have also a selection of sparkling wines and a dessert wine to finish!

Wines at GREENWAY are made from 100% estate grown from our single vineyard fruit, nurtured using sustainable farming practices. Passionate and dedicated to the making of our wine, we only bottle when the vintage is at its best, producing limited releases, approximately 500 cases in any given year. Our wines can ONLY be sourced at the cellar door or via our web site.

Greenway is also partnering with local artist to offer Art N Sip classes in the vineyard. This is a great opportunity to have some fun with a group of friends, enjoying a vineyard tour, a private Greenway Wines tasting along with a generous cheese and charcuterie plate, and the experience of painting your own Masterpiece! All materials are provided. And the best thing is....there is no right or wrong and no experience necessary! Art N Sip in the Vines is available to groups of minimum 4 and maximum 8, at a cost of $150 per head and runs from 11-3pm on Fridays. We're launching a series of chocolate making classes in the Red Barn classroom, where you and learn how to make our wine chocolates for yourself under our very own chocolatier's guidance. Your Wine and Chocolate tuition includes all ingredients, cooking equipment, and aprons.
A guided wine tasting and abundant antipasto platter is at the ready to complete your chocolate vineyard adventure. You will leave us with a great experience and insights on both wine and chocolate pairing, your very own hand crafted chocolates and a bottle of each of their matching wines. THE LONG LUNCH | We invite you to join us for the Annual Greenway Wines Long Table Luncheon to be held on Saturday September 18, 2021.

The alfresco long table luncheon set amongst the casuarina trees overlooking the vineyard, features a delicious menu complemented with matching Greenway Wines, live music and a treasure hunt for D'oro in among the vines.

We promise an outstanding menu showcasing regional artisans.  A spectacular four course luncheon has been designed by talented Chef Nathan Cooper, who has worked internationally, had the privilege of cooking for 4 of our serving prime ministers, Prince William and Bill Gates and now especially for you and I!  Nathan is based in the Hunter Valley and brings his personal touch, drawing from 20 years of International experience in hospitality.  We are very excited to welcome him to Luncheon. A delicious wine and food experience is assured, as together Nathan and I have prepared a wine paired menu to delight.  It's a magic way to delve into the wonderful world of wine and food matching.   So 'Let's do Lunch!  We begin at 12pm with canapés and bubbles:  CANAPES: Mushroom Arancini with Truffled Aioli Broke Green Olives & Artichoke on Sourdough Crab Chive and lemon en croute

The choosing of Sept 18 is not a coincidence - as Sculpture in the Vines runs over this weekend and Greenway Wines are proud sponsors, so why not plan to come up on Friday morning - take in some of the sculpture exhibitions, do lunch with us on the Saturday and then experience the remaining sculptures on the Sunday - what a great way to spend your weekend in the Hunter Valley.
