About Us

FLOOD CONSCIOUS | Our Cellar Door was impacted by the recent flooding in our beautiful Broke Fordwich Wine Region last week, as was the little village of Broke which is our base. In the short term Greenway Wines has established a 'pop up' cellar door in the Vineyard and invite you to make a booking and come in for a tasting and antipasto platter beside the fire.

We do ask all visitors to the region to be mindful that the actual township of Broke is accessible only to residents. Please respect their privacy as they deal with the stress of a major clean up. All the restaurants and cellar doors on the wine trail are outside the Village and will be accessible by the weekend commencing Saturday 16 July.

Please note that while access to Broke is unaffected from Pokolbin via Cessnock Rd, the road from Singleton to Broke is damaged and closed until further notice. Guests travelling from Singleton can access Broke via Hermitage Rd Pokolbin and also via Bulga and Milbrodale Rd.

We've been overwhelmed by messages of support and many of you have been asking how you can help. The best thing you can do for Greenway and the Broke Fordwich Wine Region is buy local and support farmers and winemakers like ourselves. Know that our online store is open 24/7 and couriers have resumed service to Broke, and we are able to send wine out to you, where ever you may be.

FLOOD SUPPORT | The flood of July 6th, 2022, was the worst flood in the history of the village and it has devastated the township and its people. Over 50 houses have been severely impacted by the disaster. The community of Broke, government bodies, and all of the people who have been on the ground helping to try and put our wonderful community back together again can only do so much. The Broke Fordwich Flood Appeal team are working in partnership with Resilience NSW to raise much needed funds for flood affected families. Here is the GIVIT link for current needs in the Broke Fordwich region: Make donations through our Go Fund Me page “Broke Region Flood Relief”: All proceeds go directly to the Broke Residents Community Association who are working closely with flood affected families to identify and meet immediate needs.

Can you share our appeal with your friends, family and community? Thanks so much for your kindness and support, on behalf of the Broke Fordwich Flood Appeal team. It’s keeping our community going!

ABOUT US|In a picturesque Red Barn encircled by the Brokenback Ranges and Wollombi Brook, you’ll find GREENWAY Wines. A family run vineyard producing handcrafted, small batch wines.
Varieties include Pinot Grigio, our sort after Fiano, a gorgeous rosè, the most supple of Merlots, and - of course 'the architect' Shiraz. We have also a selection of sparkling wines and a dessert wine to finish! Wines at GREENWAY are made from 100% estate grown from our single vineyard fruit, nurtured using sustainable farming practices. Passionate and dedicated to the making of our wine, we only bottle when the vintage is at its best, producing limited releases, approximately 500 cases in any given year. Our wines can ONLY be sourced at the cellar door or via our web site.

Accept this invitation, join us for a wine tasting, and in doing so become part of the magic that is GREENWAY WINES.
