Crafted exclusively from 100% estate-grown Pinot Grigio, 'luminoso' embraces the traditional Italian Ramato style, where gentle skin contact allows the naturally pink grape skins to impart their beautiful blush hue, texture and complexity.
A small portion of barrel fermentation adds softness and subtle richness while preserving the vibrant fruit and freshness that define the wine.

'luminoso' is Italian for "luminous" or "glowing" - a name inspired by the way this remarkable wine catches the light.
Unlike conventional Pinot Grigio, 'luminoso' is crafted in the traditional Italian Ramato style.
Rather than immediately separating the juice from the skins, gentle skin contact allows the naturally pink Pinot Grigio skins to impart their distinctive blush hue, layers of flavour, texture and complexity. As the wine matures in bottle, this naturally vibrant colour gradually evolves towards the classic copper tones of traditional Ramato wines.
The result is a wine that is vibrant, textural and unmistakably individual, honouring centuries-old Italian tradition while expressing the unique character of our Broke Fordwich vineyard.
Produced in limited quantities each vintage, 'luminoso' is available exclusively from Greenway Wines at our Cellar Door and online.
