Sparkling White Wine
Broke Fordwich, New South Wales
The first sparkling Fiano in the Hunter! This one is way too much fun.... in a unique and stylish of course (it is a Greenway wine after all)!
$38 each
Perfect summer drinking by the pool, or next to any body of water really... The bubbles deliver passionfruit and honeydew to your nose, and kiwifruit tingles to your tongue. There is almost a savvy blanc character to this wine... not the nasty savvy blanc green asparagus bits but the yummy tropical fruits bits. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is sweet though... deliciously dry while fizzingly fruity...
Fiano bubbles are simply sensational on their own, and partner well with any special event as a toasting wine, but as a mainstay Fiano is perfect paired with Seafood. So for pairings think seafood of any description, think satay chicken skewers, think anything salty and addictive... these bubbles will turn a basic foodstuff into a celebration...

Fiano is an ancient Italian variety, that our vigneron fell in love with its amazing capability to thrive in our vineyard terroir and its magnificent palate range. This grape starts out sav blanc like with lovely lemon overtures and with bottle age takes on magnificent chardonnay-esque tones of pear and honey.
We originally grafted Fiano into the vineyard in 2013, and have been making Fiano wines - sparkling, methode, still and field blends - with it ever since.
Such a robust grape, that admittedly thrives in our little vineyard as it survived the summer rains and came in abundantly with the largest Fiano vintage we have yet to have.
Huge harvest in 2021, our Fiano brought in a bumper crop - giving over to excess following the last bought of drought years and impact of 2020 bushfires.
