Crafted exclusively from estate-grown Merlot, this vibrant sparkling red combines bright fruit flavours, lively sparkle and refreshing natural acidity to create a wine that is both deliciously drinkable and wonderfully unexpected.
Picked early to preserve freshness and vibrancy, 'bubbles' Merlot reveals a brighter and more expressive side of our Broke Fordwich vineyard. Light, energetic and full of personality, it is equally at home beside an antipasto platter, a long lunch with friends or any occasion worth celebrating.
Produced in limited quantities, 'bubbles' Merlot has become one of Greenway's most talked-about wines, with only occasional releases available when vintage conditions allow.

'bubbles' Merlot is crafted exclusively from Merlot grown on our estate beside Wollombi Brook in Broke Fordwich. The fruit was harvested earlier than our still Merlot to retain vibrant acidity, freshness and bright berry fruit character.
Careful sparkling winemaking preserves the wine's lively personality while enhancing its refreshing, fruit-driven style.
Together with its sparkling white sibling, 'bubbles' Fiano, it forms part of Greenway's playful Bubbles collection.

Bright cranberry, wild raspberry and mulberry aromas leap from the glass, complemented by hints of Turkish delight and subtle spice. The palate is vibrant and energetic, layered with juicy red berry fruits, refreshing acidity and a gentle touch of aniseed on the finish.
