Fiano is an ancient Italian variety and the name is believed to have something to do with the grapes bee-ing so sweet that the bees loved them ( all this in Latin of course... how's your Latin?) It has an amazing array of floral fruity nose tinglers... go looking for passionfruit, pineapple, orange peel, and grapefruit. And then it blows you away on the palate... woah! There you'll find lemon and minerally characters set in an off-dry scenario that, sherbets your taste-buds. The only sparkling Fiano in the Hunter!
With just enough of the sweet stuff to make it picture-perfect for a Thai curry, outa-sight garlic prawns or anything with a good dab of chilli. Serve icy cold.
